Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Perform fire protection inspections and preventive maintenance on client fire alarm systems.
- Inspect and service clean agent systems and CO2 suppression systems.
- Service, test, and repair electronic life safety systems.
- Communicate technical information and provide organized support to clients.
- Complete and submit required task-related, activity, productivity, and other documentation accurately and on time.
- Follow and maintain a structured inspection schedule.
- Train less-senior inspectors on inspection procedures and scheduling requirements.
- Maintain positive and professional relationships with customers, vendors, coworkers, supervisors, and management.
- Support additional duties and special projects as assigned by management.
- Perform other duties relevant to the position as assigned.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license.
- Previous experience with fire alarm systems and inspections is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of fire and electrical codes.
- Ability to obtain the required state license to perform security industry work.
- Ability to obtain NICET certification within the required timeframe.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to prepare routine reports and correspondence.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with standardized procedures.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.
