Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring: Stay vigilant! Ensure all fire safety systems are operational and promptly address any malfunctions.
- System Analysis and Evaluation: Review and enhance current evacuation plans to ensure they are always up to standard.
- Communication: Effectively communicate fire safety plans to ensure everyone knows what to do in an emergency.
- Scientific Knowledge: Utilize your understanding of fire behavior and management techniques to prevent fire spread.
- Fire Safety Codes: Keep abreast of local and regional fire codes and implement them within the building.
- Instruction: Educate staff and building occupants on emergency procedures, ensuring everyone is well-prepared.
Job Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- 2 years of security guard experience.
- Active Security Guard License.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- F-89 Fire and Life Safety Director Certification.
