You will represent one of the top tier brands in the Fire Detection distribution channel for JCI in the New England area (Maine, Massachusetts, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Vermont, New Jersey). Autocall fire detection systems combine advanced technology with proven performance to help ensure customers and their facilities are safe every day. Autocall systems feature some of the latest and most advanced fire detection technology available today. Responsibilities
What you will do
As a National Business Development Manager, North America, you will work with the National and Area Sales Managers to align business growth and strategy- targeting end users, multiple site holders, Architects, and Engineering firms to help promote the Autocall Fire alarm brand.
How you will do it
- Identify and develop resources relevant to business development and sales goals
- Managing and retaining relationships with existing clients
- Increasing client base
- Work independently on customers’ needs
- Having an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition
- Identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs
- Researching business opportunities and viable income streams
- Prepare, attend and support team at industry trade shows and events
Job Requirements
Required
- 10+ years proven sales experience
- 5+ years management experience
- Experience in Fire Life Safety Industry
- Travel will be required when virtual is not a viable option.
Preferred
- 4-year Engineering Degree
- MBA / Master’s Degree
