Narrow Security is seeking dedicated and vigilant Fire Guard (F01) to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients premises in compliance with New York City Fire Department regulations. As a Fire Guard, you will be responsible for overseeing the premises, identifying potential fire hazards, and taking immediate action to prevent and respond to fire emergencies.
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- On call
- Weekends only
License/Certification:
- F01- Fire Guard License (Required)
Ability to Relocate:
- Manhattan, NY: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Responsibilities
Job Description:
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to detect and address fire hazards.
- Enforce fire safety regulations and guidelines to prevent violations.
- Respond promptly to fire alarms and other emergencies, taking appropriate actions as trained.
- Maintain accurate records and log incidents as required.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist visitors or employees with fire safety inquiries.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Must possess a valid F01 Fire Guard Certificate issued by the New York City Fire Department.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain alert and focused during shifts.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Prior experience as a Fire Guard or in a similar role is preferred.
- Physical ability to conduct patrols and respond to emergencies as necessary.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
