Responsibilities
The Opportunity with McKinstry
We are adding a Fire Protection Designer I to our growing Fire Protection division in Spokane, WA. In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Create project file: Verify receipt of all required documents on checklist from Sales handoff meeting and request and track as needed.
- Perform CAD clean-up and generic layout of sprinkler piping.
- Provide material listing to Senior Designer and Pre-Construction Manager for review.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry:
- Effective written and verbal communication skills required.
- Proficiency in AutoCad and Revit required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and cloud-based software systems required.
- Ability to prioritize tasks required.
- Ability to deal with conflict and build positive team relationships required.
- Has or can obtain Nicet Level I in water-based layout within 6 months of hire required.
