Responsibilities
The Field Supervisor is responsible for the supervision and monitoring of security services, as outlined in the Post Orders and in the operational SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures).
This position is under the direct supervision of the Operations Manager for shift assignments and routes. The supervisor is responsible for visiting client location posts, ensuring optimum protection and safeguarding of property, persons and other assets.
Patrol premises, enforce security procedures and training of employees on post
Service standards quality assurance
Post Orders quality control
Assist dispatch and on-site Kent employees with proper handling and reporting of incidents
Respond to calls for assistance
Write reports
Provide assistance to officers in accordance to established procedures
Provide training to new security staff and cover open posts at any time if needed.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Must be capable of handling typical and crisis situations efficiently and effectively
Maintain high standards of attendance and punctuality
Maintain neat and professional appearance at all times.
Job Requirements
Certification Requirements
- NYS Security Guard License
Education Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
Qualifications:
Security or Law Enforcement training and/or experience preferred
Must have valid NYS Security License
Clean driving record, if driving
Good working knowledge of security operations, safety procedures and operational best practices
Must be at least 18 years of age or older as required by applicable law
Must have the availability to work afternoons, evenings and nights as required by the operation of a 24/7 service
Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills
