Are you a seasoned Fire Sprinkler Estimator with a passion for safety and a keen eye for detail? We are a leading engineering firm looking for an experienced professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing accurate estimates, adhering to the latest NFPA standards, and Florida Fire Codes. This role requires a deep understanding of construction estimating software, as well as the ability to read and interpret blueprints and fire sprinkler plans.Why join us?

Responsibilities
As a Fire Sprinkler Estimator, you will be responsible for:1. Conducting detailed cost estimates and takeoffs for fire sprinkler systems in various types of buildings and facilities.2. Reading and interpreting blueprints, fire sprinkler plans, and specifications to determine the scope of work and required contents of estimates.3. Utilizing construction estimating software to accurately calculate costs and materials.4. Interacting with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to provide cost-effective solutions.5. Ensuring all estimates are in compliance with the NFPA standards and Florida Fire Codes.6. Preparing and submitting budget estimates, progress reports, and cost tracking reports.7. Keeping abreast of industry trends and advancements in fire protection technology.
Job Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Fire Sprinkler Estimator.2. Proficiency in estimating, takeoffs, and the use of construction estimating software.3. Extensive knowledge of NFPA standards and Florida Fire Codes.4. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fire sprinkler plans.5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.6. Strong communication and negotiation skills.7. A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.8. Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) or similar certification will be an added advantage.
