Responsibilities
Senior Kitchen Suppression & Fire Extinguisher Technician (Future Division Leader)A growing, family-owned fire protection company in the DFW area is hiring a Senior Kitchen Suppression & Fire Extinguisher Technician with a clear path to build and lead this division.This role is designed for a high-level technician ready to take the next step — not just stay in the field long-term. You’ll start hands-on, with the expectation of growing into a leadership role as the division expands.
What We’re Looking For
- Texas FEL-K License – Required
- FEL-A License – Preferred (or willingness to obtain quickly)
- ~10+ years of hands-on experience with extinguishers and kitchen suppression systems
- Strong experience in inspections, service, repairs, and installations
- Ability to design systems, pull permits, and run jobs start to finish
- Fully independent in the field

Role Structure & Growth PathPhase 1: Senior Field Technician (Immediate)
- Own inspections, service, installs, and repairs
- Help stabilize and elevate current workload
- Bring a higher level of execution and accountability
Phase 2: Operational Involvement (Short Term)
- Provide input on workflow, scheduling, and structure
- Identify inefficiencies and growth opportunities
- Support hiring and training efforts
Phase 3: Field Supervisor (As Team Grows)
- Lead and train additional technicians
- Enforce standards and accountability in the field
Phase 4: Division Leader (Long Term)
- Oversee operations, team performance, and growth
- Play a key role in scaling this service line
