Job Overview

Jensen Hughes is seeking a dynamic Market Director, Security Risk Consulting. This role integrates leadership responsibilities with a focus on operational sales, technical expertise, and client relationship management.

Reporting to senior leadership, the position emphasizes driving revenue, fostering collaboration, and delivering value to clients while maintaining high utilization rates (50-60%). The role also promotes innovation and high-performance team dynamics.

This role combines strategic leadership with technical consulting expertise to drive business growth and deliver exceptional client outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead operational sales efforts aligned with regional strategies, leveraging Value Selling principles and Funnel Management.
  • Design and implement technical solutions for clients across services, including security risk management, security design, threat violence risk management, protective intelligence collection and analysis, investigations, and more.
  • Perform detailed security assessments, develop guiding security-focused policies and procedures. Assist with technology system designs and project management to meet client needs while adhering to budgets and timelines.
  • Cultivate and manage client relationships through effective communication, thought leadership, and responsive support to drive business growth in security risk management and investigations.
  • Establish credibility with clients and foster collaboration to apply best enterprise risk management practices across multiple business sectors, including but not limited to energy, financial services, manufacturing, healthcare, leisure and hospitality and education.
  • Maintain technical expertise by performing billable work and delivering high-quality outputs.

Job Requirements

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 10 years of professional experience in corporate or government security programs, encompassing management, coordination, and contribution to multiple security risk management projects across diverse geographical areas.
  • History of active involvement in esteemed security organizations such as ASIS or ISMA, along with certifications like CPP or PSP, or relevant training certifications from the U.S. government, is advantageous.
  • Proven track record in technical consulting, client relationship management, and business development within professional services.
  • Advanced communication, presentation, and project management skills; ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated team player with strong personal and professional ethics.
  • Preferred: Professional credentials (PE, CPP, PSP), manufacturer certifications, and active security clearance.

  • Travel up to 25% as needed.
