Responsibilities
- Manage the operations of the Fire Alarm Inspection & Service Division.
- Develop financial and operational goals in collaboration with the Senior Operations Manager and other managers.
- Ensure effective operation and efficiency of personnel within the division.
- Establish productivity goals for technical and administrative staff.
- Achieve assigned monthly goals for revenue and cost control, addressing any budgetary deficiencies.
- Lead technical and administrative personnel in delivering high customer service levels.
- Ensure technical personnel are well-trained in services, products, and safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable industry codes.
Job Requirements
- Possess necessary licensing and certification required by National, State, and Local codes.
- Minimum 3-5 years of related experience in the fire protection industry or commercial customer service.
- NICET or equivalent training from manufacturers or institutions.
- Working knowledge of NFPA 72.
- Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, and operational manuals.
- Ability to operate hand and power tools.
- Capable of performing physical labor, including carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 40 lbs.
- Proficiency with PCs, including working knowledge of MS Excel/Word and iPhone/iPad apps.
- Demonstrate a high level of customer service.
- Strong work ethic and professional appearance.
- Ability to work within a team environment.
- Self-starter with minimal supervision required.
- Strong organizational skills and positive attitude.
- Strong working knowledge of NFPA codes.
