Responsibilities

  • Manage the operations of the Fire Alarm Inspection & Service Division.
  • Develop financial and operational goals in collaboration with the Senior Operations Manager and other managers.
  • Ensure effective operation and efficiency of personnel within the division.
  • Establish productivity goals for technical and administrative staff.
  • Achieve assigned monthly goals for revenue and cost control, addressing any budgetary deficiencies.
  • Lead technical and administrative personnel in delivering high customer service levels.
  • Ensure technical personnel are well-trained in services, products, and safety protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable industry codes.

Job Requirements

  • Possess necessary licensing and certification required by National, State, and Local codes.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of related experience in the fire protection industry or commercial customer service.
  • NICET or equivalent training from manufacturers or institutions.
  • Working knowledge of NFPA 72.
  • Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, and operational manuals.
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools.
  • Capable of performing physical labor, including carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 40 lbs.
  • Proficiency with PCs, including working knowledge of MS Excel/Word and iPhone/iPad apps.
  • Demonstrate a high level of customer service.
  • Strong work ethic and professional appearance.
  • Ability to work within a team environment.
  • Self-starter with minimal supervision required.
  • Strong organizational skills and positive attitude.
  • Strong working knowledge of NFPA codes.
