Production and Safety Supervisor
Job Description
About the Job: We are looking for an experienced Production and Safety Supervisor to oversee the production activities at our site in Anaheim, USA. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the facility, implementing safety protocols, and managing the maintenance of equipment and machinery.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with expertise in precision metal machining & processing and/or assemblies of parts and/or from aerospace industry. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and planning skills.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Mange/schedule repair work on Powder manufacturing equipment.
- Monitor preventive maintenance program and schedules.
- Interface and manage with facility stock room for spare parts.
- Coordinate with contractors to service and repair Equipment's
- Support Facilities and Equipment and EH&S Department to achieve efficient and effective delivery of products with highest quality, safety, best speed and lowest cost to support company business objectives
- Provide engineering support / maintenance in the most efficient and effective manner to ensure minimal disruption to operational effectiveness
- Establish maintenance programs for equipment, machinery, buildings, structures, emergency, utility equipment, safety equipment, hoist/pressure vessel etc.
- Effective resolution and troubleshooting of equipment fault/failure
- Provide cross functional guidance for systems, projects, and programs
- Manage and monitor utilities consumption
- Setup performance measurement indices for equipment maintenance
- Lead, initiate and implement continuous improvement for plans and cost initiatives for further improvement of quality, safety, speed and cost.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment in precision metal machining & processing and/or assemblies of parts and/or from aerospace industry
- Experience with equipment installation, commissioning and testing
- Highly motivated and innovative individual who is meticulous
- Able to work in a team and independently
- Strong organizational and planning acumen with project management skills
- Good verbal communication skills, and excellent interpersonal and customer interface abilities.
- Able to lift up to 25 pounds and work on their feet and/or seated for long periods of time.
- Able to maintain visitor logs and clearly communicate via telephone and radio.
- Basic computing skills to answer emails, complete on-line training, fill-out time sheets, and other computer-based administrative tasking.
