Responsibilities

What You'll Do

  • Perform semi-annual inspections of UL 300-compliant kitchen fire suppression systems per NFPA 17A and NFPA 96
  • Service, maintain, and repair pre-engineered kitchen hood systems (ANSUL R-102, Kidde, Pyro Chem, Range Guard, and equivalents)
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot discharged systems, faulty nozzles, pull station issues, and control panel malfunctions
  • Replace wet chemical agents, fusible links, and nozzle caps during routine service
  • Inspect and service fire extinguishers (NFPA 10) and emergency lighting systems
  • Manage a daily route of commercial accounts — restaurants, schools, hospitality, healthcare
  • Maintain accurate digital inspection records and communicate findings professionally to customers

Job Requirements

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with commercial kitchen fire suppression systems
  • Working knowledge of NFPA 17A, NFPA 96, and NFPA 10
  • Familiarity with ANSUL R-102, Kidde, or equivalent UL 300-compliant systems
  • Electrical troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude
  • Professional communication — you represent the company directly to customers
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must be 25 years of age or older
  • ICC/NAFED certification preferred but not required — we'll help you get certified
