Sales Project Manager – Fire Protection ServiceI’m partnered with a leading MEPF contractor that’s expanding into the Madison area and growing their Fire Protection Service division. This company has a strong reputation in Wisconsin for large-scale commercial and industrial projects, and they’re looking for a Sales Project Manager to help drive that growth.

This role focuses on water-based fire protection systems—sprinkler, suppression, inspection, and retrofit projects—and offers the chance to build lasting client relationships while managing projects from proposal to close-out.

Responsibilities

Position Highlights:

  • Lead sales and manage service projects for fire sprinkler and suppression systems, typically up to $500K
  • Oversee estimating, proposals, budgeting, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination
  • Ensure NFPA and local code compliance for inspections, testing, and service work
  • Collaborate with field leadership, designers, and technicians to ensure high-quality performance
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships while identifying new service opportunities
  • Contribute to branch growth as the company continues expanding across Wisconsin

Job Requirements

What They’re Looking For:

  • Background in fire protection, mechanical, or construction project management (service or estimating experience ideal)
  • Knowledge of suppression systems, NFPA standards, and inspection/testing procedures
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and build long-term client trust
  • Union or non-union experience both welcome
