Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and manage the company’s jobsite safety programs and policies
- Conduct regular jobsite safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards
- Lead safety meetings, training sessions, and toolbox talks
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses while implementing corrective actions
- Maintain safety documentation, reports, and compliance records
- Work closely with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to promote safe work practices
- Monitor subcontractor safety performance across projects
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- 5+ years of construction safety experience, preferably in commercial construction
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and jobsite safety practices
- OSHA 30-hour certification required (OSHA 500 preferred)
- Experience conducting safety training and jobsite inspections
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment with multiple projects
