Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage the company’s jobsite safety programs and policies
  • Conduct regular jobsite safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards
  • Lead safety meetings, training sessions, and toolbox talks
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses while implementing corrective actions
  • Maintain safety documentation, reports, and compliance records
  • Work closely with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to promote safe work practices
  • Monitor subcontractor safety performance across projects

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of construction safety experience, preferably in commercial construction
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and jobsite safety practices
  • OSHA 30-hour certification required (OSHA 500 preferred)
  • Experience conducting safety training and jobsite inspections
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment with multiple projects
