Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities for Fire Sprinkler Superintendent:
- Supervise and manage fire sprinkler installation projects from start to finish.
- Ensure compliance with local codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
- Oversee field crews, providing training, direction, and performance feedback.
- Review and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to ensure timely project completion.
- Monitor the quality of work and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
- Conduct inspections and oversee system testing and commissioning.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fire sprinkler systems installation and management.
- Strong knowledge of fire protection codes and standards (NFPA, local/state regulations).
- Experience in leading a team and managing field operations.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
