A well-known and family-owned Central Valley Farming operation is looking to add a PCA Assistant Farm Manager to their team. The ideal candidate will be dependable, highly motivated, detail-oriented and ready to take on this dynamic role with a wide range of responsibilities supporting daily farm operations.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Scout fields for pests, disease, and moisture levels
  • Monitor crop health and irrigation needs (Schedule irrigation)
  • Coordinate fertilizer applications and chemigation schedules
  • Work with mechanics to identify and order necessary parts
  • Coordinate spray applications and write spray mix recommendations
  • Maintain accurate records of field activities and applications
  • Operate and troubleshoot GPS systems and controllers for tractors and chemical equipmen

Job Requirements

Key Qualifications

  • PCA license preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to work 5–6 days per week during peak seasons
  • Proficient or willing to learn precision agriculture technology
  • Must currently reside in the region and have a valid U.S. driver’s license
