Summary
As the Safety Director at Global Threat Solutions, you will be instrumental in developing and overseeing safety protocols across all operations. This role is vital in ensuring the safety of personnel and clients while upholding GTS's commitment to excellence in security services.
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekends as needed
Work Location: On the road
Responsibilities

- Develop and implement comprehensive safety policies and procedures across all divisions.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Lead training sessions for staff on safety practices and emergency response protocols.
- Collaborate with management to identify potential safety hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor safety performance metrics and prepare reports for senior leadership.
- Stay updated on relevant regulations and best practices in the security industry.
- Coordinate with external agencies for safety inspections and certifications.
- Promote a culture of safety within the organization through effective communication and training.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a safety management role, preferably within the security or consulting industry.
- Must be familiar with fire panel, checking for safety hazards, etc
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills for effective training and collaboration with team members.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough inspections and audits.
- Experience in developing safety training programs is a plus.
- Familiarity with system design related to safety protocols is highly desirable.
- Ability to analyze data and prepare detailed reports for management review.
