We are seeking a Fire Sprinkler Service Technician and Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems in New York City and Surrounding Boroughs and/or Long Island (Nassau and Suffolk County) in both commercial and residential settings. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with various tools and equipment to ensure the safety and efficiency of fire protection systems.

*Compensation is based on experience and negotiable based on performance

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • Fire sprinkler Inspection: 1 year (Required)

Work Location: On the road

Responsibilities

Duties

  • Inspect, service, and maintain fire sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA 25
  • Perform routine testing and maintenance on existing systems to ensure proper functionality.
  • Troubleshoot issues with fire sprinkler systems and implement effective solutions.
  • Utilize power tools and equipment for installation and repair tasks.
  • Document all work performed, including inspections, repairs, and installations for compliance purposes on INSPECTPOINT
  • Adhere to safety protocols while working on job sites to maintain a safe working environment.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • 21+ year olds with 5+ years experience with Fire Sprinkler Systems
  • Experience INSPECTING Fire Sprinkler Systems A MUST
  • Valid and CLEAN Drivers License, and willingness to drive company vehicle if needed
  • Proficiency in using power tools and equipment necessary for installation and repair tasks.
  • Experience with soldering, stick welding, and building components for fire protection systems is preferred.
  • S12/S13 certificates of fitness, OSHA certificates A PLUS
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
