Fritz Staffing is looking for an Electrical Safety Specialist in Charlotte, NC. The Field Safety Specialist will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety programs, as well as state and federal regulations. They will provide safety training, oversee construction safety, and handle non-routine correspondence.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting construction site and safety audits.
  • Participating in project handoff programs and processes.
  • Documenting inspections and suggesting corrective measures.
  • Inspecting field leadership personnel for adherence to safety forms and inspections.
  • Equipping projects with safety apparatus and supporting the workforce.
  • Providing consultation and advice on safety regulations and standards.
  • Assisting in enforcing safety policies and environmental health guidelines.
  • Training project site personnel on health and safety topics.
  • Performing technical surveillance and testing services as needed.
  • Enforcing and implementing safety policies and procedures.
  • Conducting scheduled site safety audits and assisting with incident investigations Providing in-house training for employees on OSHA courses, First Aid/CPR/AED, and equipment operation."

Job Requirements

  • Familiar with OSHA regulations (29 CFR 1926 and 29 CFR 1910).
  • Strong knowledge of the NFPA 70E manual.
  • Skilled in managing personnel and company records.
  • Proficient in web/database safety and training programs.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Team player with great interpersonal skills.
  • Effective and professional communication skills.
  • Adaptability to handle sudden demands.
  • Experienced in presenting and training large and small groups.


Education and Experience:

  • NFPA 70E Electrical Safety Qualified Person.
  • Minimum of two years of safety coordination experience at a major construction site.
