Responsibilities

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role in Texas for Special Hazards, Fire Alarm & Life Safety Technicians, Foremen, and Project Managers. Team members install, inspect, test, and maintain fire alarm, fire suppression, and special hazards systems in commercial and mission-critical facilities. Daily responsibilities include troubleshooting system issues, coordinating with clients and other trades, documenting work performed, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. Foremen and Project Managers also oversee project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and site safety, while guiding and mentoring field technicians. All roles collaborate closely to deliver reliable, code-compliant life safety solutions that support business continuity.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of fire suppression systems and fire safety practices, with experience in special hazards environments.
  • Hands-on experience with fire suppression and life safety systems, including inspection, testing, and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting fire alarm and fire suppression systems, including identifying and resolving technical issues in the field.
  • Familiarity with applicable codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, local building and fire codes) related to fire alarm and suppression systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and project specifications.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients, contractors, and team members.
  • Demonstrated experience in coordinating or leading projects for Foremen and Project Manager roles, including scheduling and site supervision.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., NICET, manufacturer-specific training), state licensing and a valid driver’s license are preferred.
  • Comfortable traveling to and working on-site in commercial and industrial environments, with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
