Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Alarm Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in alarm systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. This role requires mechanical and electrical knowledge, as well as the ability to work independently in various environments. The Alarm Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all systems are functioning correctly and efficiently while providing excellent customer service.

Experience:
- Fire alarm: 1 year (Required)
Language:
- Spanish (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- S-98 From FDNY (Required)
- NICET Level II or above (Preferred)
Ability to Relocate:
- New York, NY (Queens County): Relocate before starting work (Required)

- Install, maintain, and repair alarm systems, including fire alarm and security systems.
- Conduct thorough inspections of alarm systems to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Utilize tools such as voltmeters to diagnose issues and perform necessary repairs.
- Collaborate with clients to design and build customized alarm systems that meet their needs.
- Provide field service support, addressing any technical issues that arise during installations or maintenance visits.
- Assist in alarm system sales by providing technical expertise and recommendations to potential customers.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, installations, and repairs performed.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in alarm technology.
Job Requirements
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Alarm Technician or similar role in the field of security systems.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of electrical systems.
- Familiarity with Kidde software for system programing is a plus.
- Experience with Fire Alarm Test and Inspections is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while on-site at various locations.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
