Quality Service Manager in our Hood and Duct / Suppression division. As a Quality Service Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of safety and service excellence for our clients. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing the quality assurance processes, implementing best practices, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to uphold our commitment to protecting lives and property. Additionally, you will be instrumental in leading a team of service technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
Duties:
Main areas of responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Manage technician timecards / OT / manpower.
Collect / reconcile / track gas cards.
Review / process / prevent parking tickets.
Create return services for jobs with no quote required.
Skills matrix and performance management of techs
Routine technical trainings
Track all vans and field safety.
Utilization of techs (time spent on each job)
Managing technician call outs / attendance - responsible for early morning internal
communications
Track reschedules and problem-prevent all incoming issues.
Reviewing / actioning FDNY summons system.
Track technicians in route to ensure OTD.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as quality control, engineering, or manufacturing.
- At least 5 years of experience in a quality control or quality assurance role.
- Proven experience in implementing quality control systems and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve quality control issues.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Experience with quality inspection and control processes.
- Knowledge of quality control systems and processes.
- Experience with fabricating products and ensuring that all products meet quality standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.
- Certification in quality control or a related field is a plus.
