Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Safety Manager to join our client’s team. This role involves overseeing the implementation and management of safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Education:

  • Associate (Preferred)

Experience:

  • site management: 1 year (Preferred)
  • safety management: 1 year (Preferred)
  • OSHA: 1 year (Preferred)
  • MSHA: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Location: In person

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain safety programs and policies.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Manage accident documentation and reporting processes.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure adherence to Corporate Operating Procedures.
  • Implement and monitor an effective audit system for ongoing safety compliance.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Professional safety certification or associate's degree desired.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety management.
  • In-depth knowledge of OSHA and MSHA regulations.
  • Proven experience in site management and safety operations.
  • Strong ability to analyze and interpret safety statistics.
  • Excellent communication skills for training and advising field personnel.
  • Competency in using safety-related software and tools.
  • Experience with conducting comprehensive safety audits.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address safety issues promptly.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple safety projects.
