Responsibilities
Duties:
- Monitor designated areas for fire hazards
- Perform regular fire safety checks and patrols
- Ensure exits and fire extinguishers are accessible
- Sound alarms and contact emergency services in case of fire
- Maintain accurate logs and incident reports
- Assist in evacuations during fire emergencies
- Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Must have Valid FDNY F -04 Certificate of Fitness
- Physically fit and strong Must be able to stand for 8 hours
Skills:
- Strong observation and surveillance abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Event coordination without excessive celebration
- Composure in high-pressure situations
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making
- Knowledge of security protocols and procedures
