Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients in the construction and fire protection industries.
- Spearhead layout, estimating, and managing projects upon award
- Work with a talented design team to spearhead incoming projects
- Identify new business opportunities and generate leads through cold calls and networking.
- Prepare and present sales proposals to potential clients, highlighting the benefits of fire sprinkler systems.
- Conduct site visits to assess client needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with project management and estimating teams to ensure accurate project bids and timely delivery.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet or exceed revenue targets and quotas.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and advancements related to fire protection and sprinkler systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales and installation process.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- 5+ years of fire sprinkler new construction sales experience
- Ability to travel throughout the Southern California market
- Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler systems and fire protection standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client engagement.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with estimating and project management processes is a plus.
- Certifications such as NICET or knowledge of NFPA standards are desirable.
- Experience with CRM software for managing client accounts and sales pipelines.
