Responsibilities

  • Will complete a statement of conditions (SOS) surveys for health care facilities. Provide clients with advance notice of any infractions prior to joint commission inspections.
  • Provides direction needed for health care facilities to resolve issues to receive federal grants.
  • Trained to do above ceiling surveys for hospitals for statement of conditions. (SOS)
  • Survey the entire facility and provide a report to the client that identifies any issues in advance.
  • Complete hospitals fire door inspections.
  • Completes fire stops inspections for new construction and remodeled buildings.
  • Prepares reports for healthcare facilities clients.
  • Quality of work must be proficient to provide an accurate and comprehensive review for clients.
  • Must operate in productive manner and simultaneously manage multiple assigned projects. Must achieve assigned deadlines.
  • Communicate with others in a collaborative fashion.

Job Requirements

  • Must become certified to complete fire stop surveys following on-the-job training.
  • Must be responsive to on-the-job training and learn to work independently.
  • Display excellent time management skills. Must easily work through multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must have strong communications skills and work with team to align schedules.
  • Needs to be able to perform work in Bluebeam.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to a 22-pound ladder throughout the facility.
  • Must be able to stand and walk up ladders for the duration of an 8 hour of the workday.
  • Must be comfortable writing and recording information accurately.
  • Be able to use basic tools proficiently such as computer, flashlight, tape measure, measuring devices, and screwdriver.
  • Must be available to travel in state and out of state up to 50% of the time.
  • When not traveling, work hybrid schedule of three days in office and two days at home location.
