Responsibilities
This position provides valuable work experience in the service, inspection and repair of kitchen suppression systems (hoods). An extensive training program will be provided by a qualified technician. When qualified, responsibilities include conducting service calls, systems testing and inspections to the prescribed standards; performing on-site emergency troubleshooting and repairs of our customers’ kitchen suppression systems; identifying code issues and non-conformance issues; preparing accurate and timely service tickets and reports; and installing kitchen suppression systems.
Job Requirements
Required
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to be available on-call when scheduled
- High school diploma/GED
Preferred
- Experience in the Fire Protection industry
- Experience with Sprinkler Systems, Engineered Systems, Pre-Engineered Systems, Alarm Systems, Kitchen Systems
- Experience with trades such as HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical or plumbing
