Summary

Responsible for management and oversite of Fire Sprinkler Design of fire protection systems for industrial, commercial and residential applications, completing project designs and submittals, including fire pumps, tanks, wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge systems.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Manage the Design Team helping to mentor, train and develop team members to
  • Serve as the Estimating and Design Departments inside technical expert.
  • Work collaboratively with Project Managers and Operations Manager to ensure a seamless transition between design and implementation.
  • Oversee and manage Design Department project schedules to ensure timelines are met.
  • Design, survey, calculate and stock list projects when necessary to maintain project schedules
  • Calculate figures to convert design dimensions to resizing dimensions specified for subsequent production.

Job Requirements

Education and/or Experience

Bachelors Degree or five + years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. NICET Level III.

Computer Skills

AutoSPRINK preferred, SprinkCad, AutoCad, or HydroCAD, Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
