Responsibilities
Role Description This full-time, on-site Low Voltage/Security & Fire Alarm Technician role is based in Connecticut and Massachusetts, United States. The technician installs, configures, and maintains low voltage systems including security, access control, CCTV, and fire alarm/life safety systems in accordance with codes and company standards. Daily tasks include reading blueprints, running and terminating cables, mounting and wiring devices, performing system tests, and documenting work performed. The role also involves troubleshooting system issues, responding to service calls, collaborating with electricians and other trades, and ensuring that all work meets safety and regulatory requirements. The technician interacts with customers on-site, explains system functions, and supports commissioning and periodic inspections.
