Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter lines to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and verify authorized entry, directing visitors and deliveries to the proper check-in process and maintaining required entry logs and/or badge documentation.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, disturbances, and policy violations through the designated reporting chain.
- Complete detailed reports of patrols, incidents, and observations, and communicate notable activity to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
Job Requirements
Minimum Requirements:s
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Requires experience with Fire Suppresion systems or Fire I and II qualfication
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
