As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a fast-paced food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will assist with access control, observe and report unusual activity, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors while delivering strong customer service. Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of production, warehouse, loading dock, office areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Control access at entry points by verifying identification, managing visitor sign-in, and directing deliveries and contractors to designated areas per site procedures.
- Complete timely reports and logs for patrols, incidents, and shift activity, and communicate status updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
Job Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions
