The Security Professional Flex Officer will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, Education, Finance and more. Responsibilities
- Provide a dedicated professional Security Presence in a healthcare setting
- Promote Patient Safety with consistent patrols, De-escalation Tactics, and a focus on compassionate care
- Assist medical staff in high intensity incidents & emergencies
- Conduct Patient safety screenings, Provide access control, and customer service assistance
- Complete accurate after-action reports for incidents and calls for service
- Assist Medical team with medical restraints as trained, Transport Deceased patients to the morgue
- Maintain Hospital Safety and Security policies, and patient safety and dignity with the highest level of professionalism
Job Requirements
- High school diploma/GED verifiable by a 3rd party background check
- Current driver's license if driving a company- or customer-owned vehicle
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- Must be at least 18 years of age, or higher if required by the state
- At least 2 years of verifiable work history with no gaps in employment more than 90 days
- Ability to pass a federal 10-panel drug test
- Willing to undergo TB bloodwork and vaccination compliance requirements
- Ability to remain calm, confident, and reliable in stressful situations
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods and respond quickly when needed
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):
- Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms) or any support role in a Combat Zone
- Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) or verified work experience in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter field
- Bachelor's degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studies
- A minimum of 8 or more years of service in any military branch
- Associate's degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service
