We are seeking a forward-thinking and technically proficient Global Security Manager to lead our fire prevention, emergency response, and life safety programs across a global footprint. This role serves as a strategic pillar in our Global Security team and is designed to evolve into a senior leadership position within 3–5 years.

This individual will bring deep expertise in fire protection systems and emergency preparedness, while demonstrating the capacity to grow into a broader security leadership role. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with EHS, Facilities, HR, and Operations to ensure business continuity and regulatory compliance, and will drive program maturity through global governance and local execution.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $95,000 - $107,000 with bonus opportunity

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Fire & Life Safety Program Management

  • Lead the development and global standardization of fire prevention and life safety policies, systems, and inspections.
  • Ensure site-level compliance with internal standards and regulatory codes (e.g., NFPA, OSHA, ISO 45001).
  • Oversee global monitoring and tracking of fire protection system status and service intervals.
  • Experience overseeing compliance with EU fire protection programs, standards, and specifications preferred.

Emergency Response & Crisis Planning

  • Update and maintain emergency response plans across all global locations.
  • Conduct training for local Emergency Response Teams and HQ Coordinating Team.
  • Execute and assess emergency drills with measurable quality metrics.

Cross-Functional & Regional Collaboration

  • Partner with EHS, HR, Facilities, and Operations to integrate emergency preparedness into broader risk frameworks.
  • Support regional site leaders in implementing global standards while allowing for regional compliance needs.
  • Lead internal and vendor audits, manage corrective actions, and track resolution status.

Strategic Leadership & Program Growth

  • Drive maturity of the fire and emergency program from operational execution to strategic governance.
  • Build foundational structures for succession into a future Global Security Director or equivalent role.
  • Present updates, audit results, and investment proposals to executive leadership.
  • Participate in security budget planning, vendor oversight, and long-term roadmap development.

Job Requirements

Must-Have Skills & Experience

  • 7–10 years of progressive experience in fire safety, emergency response, or security risk management.
  • Proven background in managing or auditing fire protection systems, drills, and emergency planning.
  • Experience in multi-site or global organizations with centralized standards and regional execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; confident in executive-level reporting.

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fire Science, Emergency Management, Occupational Safety, Security, or a related field.
  • Preferred certifications (one or more):
    • NFPA Certification
    • Certified Emergency Manager (CEM)
    • ISO 45001 Auditor
    • ASIS CPP/PSP

Preferred Qualifications ("Nice to Have")

  • Familiarity with global EHS and emergency planning regulations (e.g., OSHA, NFPA, ISO).
  • Experience managing budgets or participating in capital project planning.
  • Exposure to global crisis management or business continuity programs.
  • Security management background or certifications (CPP, PSP) a plus.

Performance Expectations (12–18 Months)

  • Achieve global fire system inspection compliance with internal standards.
  • Deliver updated and localized emergency response plans for all sites.
  • Train and operationalize HQ Emergency Coordinating Team.
  • Launch and track global monitoring/reporting systems for fire safety.
  • Execute emergency drills across sites with clear metrics and quality improvements.
  • Complete site audits with documented gap analysis and corrective action plans.
