Founded in 2015, All Purpose Protection Services is a multi-faceted, hospitality oriented security company. Having a wide reach in all aspects of security from some of New York City’s hottest restaurants, nightclubs, retail stores, and personal protection. All Purpose Protection is today’s standard in guest and client safety, along with ownership operational success in mind. Founded by Robert Thompson and Bobby Papachryssanthou, who each have 15+ years of security and restaurant operation experience. Rob Thompson began working for some of the largest security companies growing rapidly from guard to supervisor to general manager, the next step in his growth was to open his own company. In doing so, he and his partner have added 20 businesses within the 2 years of operation. Surf Lodge, The Garrett, The Ditty, Kind Regards, to name a few. Bobby Papachryssanthou, his partner, was raised in the restaurant business. Having graduated from Cornell University’s hospitality program he moved to New York and worked for some of the largest restaurant and nightclub operators. From LDV Hospitality, he transitioned to the TAO Group. Having opened LAVO NY as the general manager, he spent a lot of time with the security teams learning both sides of the business. He then moved on to open his own cocktail bar in Astoria and has a deep understanding of the security needs of all facets of hospitality and retail, more importantly, guest services.
